Acrelec’s COD displays customers itemised orders on the screen providing immediate visual feedback to the customer whilst also informing them of the ongoing cost. The price per item and the running total can also be displayed.

Advertising, promoting your products and customer awareness is a key function of the COD, and there are three distinct methods of achieving this.
- Before the customer starts placing their order, the whole of the COD screen can be used to show your latest promotions or products you have decided to advertise,
- Whilst customers are placing their orders promotional products can be displayed in a sidebar to tempt customers to add these items to their order,
- And lastly, once the customer has finished ordering the system can be configured to promote a choice of extra items such as desserts or drinks.

The audio system built into Acrelec’s Customer Order-Displays has been developed to meet the demanding conditions prevalent in outdoor Drive Thru operations. Factors such as wind, rain, car radios and engine noise have been surpressed whilst the customers voice is enhanced to provide accurate ordering due to the clarity of its sound.
